"Aurora and perseids seen at the beach of Norderney, Germany. The image is a composite of 64 individual exposures of meteors, one of these images was used as a background. The frames were taken in the night from 12 to 13 August 2024 with shooting stars from 23:20 to 03:27 (CEST), the background image was taken at 02:26. The position of the shooting stars in the sky was not changed, as no star tracker was used, the tracks do not point exactly to one point in the sky as the radiant of the meteor shower was moving."
